We don’t want your little guy waiting anxiously for you to take them for a walk or let them out to go to the bathroom. Luckily for you, our dog walking service can give you a helping hand. Our dog walkers are all dog-lovers, and they’re really excited to become your buddy's best friend. You will no longer have to worry about your dog getting their much needed daily physical activity. Our dog walkers are dedicated to socializing and exercising your dog. This not only helps to reduce barking, but it also helps to rid of separation anxiety issues. For our clients’ convenience, we offer different levels of dog walking that vary in the amount of time according to your needs as a pet owner. It is important that your pet receives proper and timely care. If you are unable to make the trip because of work or other circumstances we are there to help. We are available for routine or emergency vet visits. The cost is $45 for a 2 hour minimum block of time. You can book our services through this website or download the WIX app on your phone.
What to Expect
Dog Walking is a positive alternative to boarding your pets and gives you peace of mind, knowing that someone responsible is caring for your pets and home.
When you first contact us, we will schedule an initial consultation meeting at your home. This is so you can get to know us and our services and we can meet you and your family. It is important that your pets like us too! We’ll review your completed online “Get a Quote" form (see below) to help us understand your pet(s) needs. We’ll also get pertinent information such as specific instructions, special needs, emergency phone numbers and services you may need.
Each day while you are away we will visit your home to walk, feed and play with your pet(s) where they will remain in their familiar and safe environment. Your pet will follow their regular diet and exercise routine.
We are extremely reliable and trustworthy. We will always treat your pets with love, respect and quality care. Our goal is to see that they remain happy and stress free.
I work long hours and Island has been a god send. They developed a great relationship with both my dogs. There are always professional!

How do I get started?
Go to www.islanddogwalkers.net or dowload the WIX mobile app on your phone. Tell us all about your pet(s), their routine and their needs! You can book any of our services through those sources or call us at (609) 674-6924.
Why should I hire Island Dog Walkers for our pet care needs?
We are trustworthy, experienced, flexible and reliable. First and foremost, we are passionate about pets. We carry out the responsibilities assigned to us in a caring, loving and responsible manner. Each professional pet care providers are hand selected based on their experience and proven track record working with animals.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept cash, PayPal, credit/debit card payments. Credit card/debit card payment can also be made at time of service through Square. Cash payments should be left on the kitchen counter prior to that week’s service or leaving for your vacation. If you choose to pay by credit card all details are hosted on a secure platform through our website.
Do you have black-out dates?
No. We work 365 days per year. Please book holidays far in advance to secure your bookings as they fill up fast.
Should I tip my pet sitter?
Tipping your pet walker/sitter is completely up to you. You can tip your walker/sitter directly at the time when paying your invoice. All tips go directly to the walker/sitter.
What if there is an emergency with my pet?
You will be contacted immediately. When you create your pets profile you will be prompted to provide information concerning your pet’s health and vet. In the event of an emergency, if you cannot be reached, we will seek medical treatment for your pet from your veterinarian or emergency vet for out of hours’ urgent attention is needed.
What are your business hours?
We offer dog walking, pet sitting and vet visits Monday through Sunday 8am – 10pm.
My pet needs to go to the vet. Can you take them?
Yes, we can take your pet to the vet for routine or emergency visits.

About Us

I am a retired school teacher. After 25 years caring for teens I have changed my focus to canines. I have a life-long love for all animals. All of our dog walkers are extensively trained and have a commitment to make sure your furry friend is happy, healthy and content.
My daughter Katie is my partner. She graduated from Mainland and is a part-time college student. She also does work for Animal Aid USA a dog rescue which brings dogs back from Georgia to be adopted locally.
DONATION: $1.00 is donated to the Human Fund (President, George Costanza, est. 1997) with every dog walk.
